The username “Smivey” started off as a combination of my first initial, second initial and part of my last name. I added the “Y” when some Web sites started requiring at least six characters for usernames. Coincidentally, Charles Dickens named a character in one of his stories (Martin Chuzzlewit) “Chicken Smivey.” However, I was not aware of this when I chose the username.
