Oh yeah. I really sent it. Well, I edited this one a bit more from the one I sent. But it's pretty much the same. I'm constantly editing myself.

i'll join this fight, S----. (nearly revealed ya there, didn't i?). It is such a ridiculous waste. They not only suck, but are shoving their worthless shit down everyone's throats and yeah, like you said--filling up landfills as they go.

fuckers.

p.s. you're not a grumpy old man.

Your bang on, for how many years have people all over North America been tossing floppys or CD's for one of the most useless ISP's in the world at the cost of the planet and users peace of mind.

They claim they are blocking spam and ad's, sure they are... as long as they are not making cash off it, their entire "AOL Commuinty" is nothing more then selected / targerting paid advertising and spam that is filtered though the pockets of AOL Time Warner in the name of online saftey. But mostley profit...

Perhaps in protest everyone should take these disks whenever they see them / receive them in the mail and we can send them all back to their corperate offices at once, sending a clear message that we dont want their service or endorce there waste of the planets resources.

At a bare minimum they might take the returned disks and redistribute them recycled rather then print up another 10 million.

In the future they could also consider just sending us a blank CD/DVD RW disk, as people might actually look forward too that, and it would save them on pressing costs ;)
